Singapore’s Christmas Wonderland Activities Ushering This Holiday Season

The yuletide spirit in Singapore won’t be complete without its most popular year-end event, Christmas Wonderland.

The annual event will brighten the holiday season with a plethora of family-friendly activities happening from Nov. 29 to Dec 26, 2021, at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s premier nature park. After taking a break for a year, expect a more unforgettable experience as the entire bay area and fairgrounds will be filled with stunning light fixtures and sculptures (handcrafted by Italian artisans) and other picture-perfect Christmas décors.

Here are some new and exciting activities lined up for this year’s Christmas Wonderland that you shouldn’t miss!

Christmas Light Display and Workshops

This year's Christmas Wonderland, Walk of Peace, is a great location to take a photo with your family in matching Christmas outfits, thanks to its 50-metre tunnel gleaming with more than 60,000 light bulbs.

Another favorite photo spot is the Mistletoe Alley, screaming with aesthetics and appealing ornaments and luminaire perfect for the ‘gram.

On top of that, kids can also join the gift-wrapping workshop, led by Santa Claus and his little helpers (aka Christmas elves), located in the forest snow globe.

Parades and Performances

Take pleasure in the holiday mood as you celebrate the season by watching the parade of reindeers, elves, and of course, Santa Claus every Fridays and Sundays.

Carnival games and parades will exhibit a nostalgic celebration, so prepare for a classic ride at carousels, bumper cars, and the mini Viking.

For those who love all forms of artistic performances, Christmas Wonderland will have circus performers of Trash Test Dummies, magic trick and illusions by Vitaly Beckman, and wonderful Christmas serenade pieces by local singers, celebrities, and choir groups.

Flower Field and Christmas Treats

Obviously, indulging in a feast is part of the celebration! Spot your favourite holiday treats at Christmas markets inspired by London’s Hyde Park and designed with European-style wooden huts. There is a wide variety selection of craft goods and limited-edition beverages such as Brewerkz and Haagen Däaz.

On the other hand, the enchanting part is the Flower Dome, which features colourful Poinsettias and winter blooms, and installations shaped after iconic landmarks from countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
