President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is set to issue an executive order that will make wearing of face masks indoors voluntary, Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco said during a press briefing on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The Thai government has lifted its mask mandate as “the COVID-19 situation in the country has improved,” according to an announcement signed by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

Face masks are a proven effective means to combat the COVID-19 virus, but a majority of the masks available in the market are made for adults. Good thing, these Instagram brands in Singapore offer cute face masks specifically for kids.

Starting mid-June, Thailand residents are not mandated to wear face masks except for people with certain medical conditions, pregnant women, and the elderly.

Fully vaccinated travellers will also soon be allowed to enter Singapore without having to quarantine.

Singapore citizens with blue or orange Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) cards can get free surgical masks starting Feb. 28 until March 13.

The Temasek Foundation will offer reusable face masks to every Singapore resident for free as part of its Stay Prepared initiative.
