The Splendid Flora Festival at Suan Luang Rama IX Park is a must-visit event in Bangkok, running from Dec. 1-10 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. This annual celebration transforms the park into a lush paradise with an incredible variety of blooming flowers, meticulously arranged to create stunning displays.
Visitors can explore special exhibitions like the "72nd Birthday Anniversary of King Rama X: Continuing Development for the People," which honors the King's commitment to development, along with exhibitions on cold climate trees, carnivorous plants, and bamboos. There will be festive activities for all ages, including a lucky draw tree, fortune telling, and performances of traditional music and dance.
Food and plant markets will be set up for those looking to shop local products, including plants, gardening tools, and delicious regional treats. The festival will also feature fireworks on Dec. 1 and Dec. 10 to mark the start and end of the celebration.
Getting there is easy via the Yellow Line Skytrain to Suan Luang Rama IX station, with shuttles available to the park. Entry is free, and all are welcome!
