Organised by the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN), Ploenchit Fair will return and transform Bangkok Patana School into a traditional British fairground. Go on fun rides, watch live performances, and tickle your taste buds with a flurry of international tastings, all whilst helping raise funds for the needy. This is the fair’s first appearance after two years of pandemic-induced cancellations so don’t miss out!

2. Chef Andreas Caminada Whips Up ‘Surprise Dish’

Swiss chef Andreas Caminada is gracing the city’s food scene by whipping up a “surprise dish” at Michelin-starred resto IGNIV Bangkok for the first time. Along with head chef David Hartwig, chef Andreas will prepare a four-course menu featuring the special dish exclusive this weekend. Expect creations made with seasonal ingredients like root vegetables and locally sourced quail eggs. At least 19 dishes will be served to each guest during this limited chef takeover. 5. Italian Screens

In the mood for something Italian? SF World Cinema is showing five critically acclaimed films for their Italian Screens event starting tomorrow until Friday. Catch Giuseppe Tornatore’s documentary titled “The Glance of Music,” spotlighting iconic composer Ennio Morricone; Michelangelo Frammartino's experimental documentary, “The Hole,” featuring young explorers; “The King of Laughter,” a comedy drama directed by Mario Martone; Giuseppe Bonito's “A Girl Returned,” a drama about an adopted child; and Leonardo Di Costanzo’s “The Inner Cage,” which tells the story of an old prison and its remaining inmates and guards.

6. Sunday Mediterranean Brunch
