Calling all K-Pop and K-Drama fans! D.O. is bringing you roses for his upcoming first solo fan concert, "Bloom,” set to kick off in Seoul in June before heading to other cities in Asia.

Following the on-going Asia tour of his fellow EXO member, Baekhyun, fans can catch D.O.’s shows starting in Seoul on June 8-9, then Hong Kong on June 29, Bangkok on Aug. 10, Kuala Lumpur on Aug. 17, Manila on Aug. 31, and Singapore on Sept. 28.

Although details are yet to be released by his agency and the local organisers of the respective cities, EXO-Ls and K-Drama fans are surely tuning in to get tickets for his most-awaited fan concert.

Making his debut in 2012 as part of the legendary K-Pop group EXO, Doh Kyung Soo, or D.O. then explored the realm of acting in 2014, where he successfully thrived with multiple awards under his belt and has also gained a huge following.

Fans of Indonesian music sensation Nadin Amizah, rejoice! The 24-year-old singer-songwriter is set to return to Kuala Lumpur for a highly anticipated solo concert this May

Titled “Malam Mendengar (Night of Listening)," the show will take place at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on May 16, 2025, at 8 PM. Known for her emotional vocals, poignant lyrics, and captivating stage presence, Nadin promises an unforgettable evening for her Malaysian fans.

Nadin first rose to prominence in 2017 with her collaboration alongside renowned Indonesian DJ Dipha Barus on the hit single “All Good.” The track earned three nominations at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) and won the award for Best Dance/Electronic Production Work

Since then, she has carved a unique path in the music industry, transitioning to folk music with her debut single “Rumpang in 2018, earning her two prestigious AMI awards: Best Folk/Country/Ballad Production Work and Best New Artist in 2019.

The “Malam Mendengar” concert will feature orchestral renditions of Nadin’s beloved songs, offering fans a fresh and intimate way to experience her heartfelt melodies. Witness a Night of Malaysian Grandeur with “Classical Treasures”

Classical music lovers, prepare for an evening filled with beautiful symphonies and operatic magnificence. 

The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) presents “Classical Treasures,” a concert featuring some of the world’s most beloved compositions. The symphonic evening is set for April 5, 2025, at the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS at 8PM, with Filipino conductor Gerard Salonga helming the orchestra. Soprano Datuk Syafinaz Selamat will also make an appearance at this momentous spring event, performing Gounod’s “Ah! Je veux vivre and Mozart’s “Der Hölle Rache.

World-renowned compositions such as Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville: Overture,” Chopin’s “Nocturne No. 2 in E flat major,” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 7 will be heard during the evening, making for an unparalleled experience filled with classical music. 

"Romeo and Juliet: Juliet’s Waltz" by Charles Gounod and Mozart's "The Magic Flute: Queen of the Night Aria" will round out the concert's setlist.

Asean-Korea Music Festival 'ROUND' is Coming to Malaysia This June!

Get ready music fans! The ROUND Music Festival is finally landing in Malaysia this June!

Known as the official name and brand of the ASEAN-Korea Music Festival project, ROUND was launched in 2020 by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund to promote cultural exchange between South Korea and ASEAN countries. According to their website, “ROUND stands for ‘equal ASEAN countries and Korea’ and will provide an opportunity for us to get closer in music.”

Five years since its debut, Malaysia finally gets a turn at this musical extravaganza. The festival is happening on June 21 and 22 in Kuala Lumpur. More details such as venue, ticket prices, and artist lineup will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

What To Expect?

ROUND Music Festival aims to unite music fans in the region with spectacular live stages and memorable performances. Its first two editions were online shows due to the global pandemic but it has since evolved into a massive in-person event. The first offline edition was held in Jakarta and featured a lineup of popular Asian artists including P-Pop sensation SB19 and Indonesian singer Pamungkas

Two festivals were held in 2024, one in South Korea which featured artists like Jaurim’s Kim Yuna, Television Off from Thailand, and Vietnamese pop artist Tien Tien. Later in November, the festival landed in Lao PDR where GOT7 member BamBam took to the stage as host and performed alongside Singapore’s Club Mild, Bunny Phyoe from Myanmar, and Rizal Rasid from Brunei.

Chinese Singer-Songwriter Ryan.B is Heading to KL for World Tour

Ryan.B is coming back to Malaysia sooner than expected! 

The Chinese singer-songwriter, known for his songs “No Reason” and “Never Again,” is heading to Kuala Lumpur for his “Hitmaker, Undercover” World Tour. The concert is set to be held at the Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Apr. 6, 2025

The upcoming world tour will be Ryan.B’s second concert in Malaysia, following his first show at the Chateau DC X last Dec. 27, 2025. Presented by ACY LIVE, the concert’s announcement also included seating and ticketing details. 

Tickets are set to go live on Feb. 7, 2025 via BookMyShow Malaysia’s website from 12 PM onwards. Tickets for the concert are priced at RM268 (GA Standing), RM298 (Standard Seating), RM338 (Premium Seating), RM428 (VIP Standing), and RM3744 (VIP Box, 8 pax).

Ready Your Bikes! The OCBC Cycle Starts Its Longest Ride in Kuala Lumpur

Calling all cyclists in Kuala Lumpur! 

The OCBC Cycle Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s premier annual cycling event, is coming back on Apr. 27, 2025, at the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), in Kuala Lumpur. 

For this year, the cycle will feature its longest ride in the city center ever – an exhilarating 50 km race that will take cyclists on a ride past iconic landmarks such as the Pavilion KL, Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC), Istana Selangor, Masjid Negara, KTM Building, and Bank Negara in two laps. 

It’s an additional 8 km more than its previous edition. It’s said to be the most challenging for the anticipated 3,000 riders, with more than 2,000 pre-registering before the event’s official launch. 

For a more relaxed ride, a 25 km race is available, offering cyclists a chance to enjoy the landmarks in one single lap. Apart from the individual races, cyclists can also form teams of 10 people for the 50 km KL Mayor’s Ride. Children aged 3 to 9 can also join the Kids’ Push Bike Category, making the entire event something everyone can enjoy!

The OCBC Cycle KL 2025 will have prizes for three bicycle types for adults – mountain, road, and folding bikes – for both men and women. All participants will also receive a medal and a digital certificate, along with free items from sponsors.

Registration fees are priced from RM60 (Kids Push Bike), RM75 (Individual-25km, Bib and Medal), RM95 (Individual 25-km, Bib, Medal and T-Shirt), RM95 (Individual-50km, Bib and Medal), RM130 (Individual 50km-Bib, Medal, and T-Shirt), and RM1,200 (Team of 10, Bib, Medal and Jersey). 

Participants can collect their Race Packs from Apr. 25 to 26, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 7 PM. The exact venue has not been announced as of writing.

Hong Kong Icon Liza Wang Set to Dazzle in First KL Concert This June

One of Hong Kong’s living legends is set to perform in Malaysia this June!

Singer and television personality, Liza Wang, also known as Ah Jie, is set to hold her “Liza Wang: A Diva In Concert” show on June 21, 8 PM at the Mega Star Arena at Sungei Wang Plaza in Bukit Bintang. The concert marks her first solo concert in Kuala Lumpur and will showcase the diva's decades-long career through unforgettable performances that will surely excite her fans.

Liza kicked off her tour with a two-night spectacle at the Hong Kong Coliseum last November which was sold-out and well-received by fans. In a post by the concert organizer, Star Fortress, the singer expressed her excitement for the upcoming show in KL, which coincides with the celebration of Parents’ Day.

“For me, the meaning of family is irreplaceable. Every show reminds me of my parents' teachings and support. This concert is specially selected around Parents' Day, and I hope it will be a special gift for all parents and fans present,” she said.

Known as “big sister” in the Hong Kong entertainment scene, Liza Wang’s career has spanned four decades since 1967. The diva is a multi-talented artist and is mainly known as a Cantonese Opera singer. She’s the Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong and Barwo, the city’s only non-profit Cantonese opera organization supporting Cantonese opera artists.

The Cantopop singer was last seen in Malaysia when she performed in the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting in 2023. She’s also reported to perform some of her biggest hits at the concert including "A Thousand Mountains of Ten Thousand Rivers,” “A Dream of Spring in Beijing,” and "Make My Day,” which is the theme song specially made for the tour.

Pop-Rock Band 'The Click Five' to Bring 2025 Tour to Malaysia

Are these lines familiar: "Jenny, you’ve got me on my knees. Jenny, it’s killin’ me.”?

Get ready to get transported back to the early 2000s, as American pop-rock band "The Click Five" is making their return to Malaysia after 17 years.

Popular for their songs “Jenny,” “Empty,” and “Just the Girl,” with their matching outfits reminiscent of the Beatles and the Strokes, The Click Five are reuniting for their “The Click 2025 Tour” in Asia.

The band announced the news on their social media page, stating that the tour was not in their plans for 2025, but since the opportunity presented itself, they had to take it. “These countries have always felt like a second home for us, and we genuinely cannot wait to see you all again this year,” the post said.

Two members, Ben and Joey, will not be joining the Asia leg of the tour due to scheduling conflicts.

The Click Five in Malaysia 2025

The Click 2025” Asia Tour will start in Kuala Lumpur on May 4, 2025, at The Exchange Hall. Tickets are priced from RM288 (General Admission), RM388 (PGA), and RM888 (VIP), and will be available starting Jan. 23, 2025, at 10 AM on the official Banyak Bagus Entertainment website.
