ERP Rates at Six Locations to Increase by S$1 on Nov. 19 and January 2023

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be increasing its Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates for motorists across six locations this Nov. 19 and on Jan. 3, 2023.

According to a press release on Nov. 14, the increases are because the traffic speeds at the nine time periods in these locations have gone down below the optimal speed range.

On Nov. 19, ERP rate increases will take effect during five time periods:

Southbound CTE Auxiliary Lane to PIE (Changi)/Serangoon Road

  • 8:00-8:30 - S$2 to S$3
  • 8:30-9:30 - S$3 to S$4

PIE (Kallang Bahru & Slip Road into Bendemeer) (Set of 2 Gantries)

  • 8:30-9:00 - S$1 to S$2
  • 9:00-9:30 - S$0 to S$1

KPE (ECP) after Defu Flyover

  • 8:30-9:00 - S$3 to S$4

The LTA added that the ERP rates for four time periods in the other three locations will only be rolled out after the holidays, namely on Jan. 3 next year, when as the traffic speeds in these locations are slated to improve during the school holidays in December:

AYE before Alexandra towards City

  • 8:00-8:30 - S$0 to S$1
  • 8:30-9:00 - S$1 to S$2

AYE after Jurong Town Hall towards City (Set of 3 Gantries)

  • 7:30-8:00 - S$0 to S$1

PIE (Adam and Mount Pleasant) (Set of 2 Gantries)

  • 7:30-8:00 - S$0 to S$1

On another note, motorists can expect ERP rate reduction during seven time periods across four locations from Nov. 19-Jan. 2, namely AYE before Alexandra towards the city; Southbound CTE before Braddell Road; Southbound CTE after Braddell Road and PIE slip road into Southbound CTE; and KPE (ECP) after Defu Flyover.

These four locations shall revert to their pre-holiday charges on Jan. 3.
