This July, there are a couple of pop-up events and markets in store for those on the hunt for fun knickknacks and preloved items or just in the mood for some window shopping.

If you’re a fur parent, a zero-waste fashionista, or a lover of fresh, local produce and small-batch lifestyle products, then these four pop-ups and markets in Singapore this July are perfect for you!

Pops & Events

Pops & Events will be organising three Pop Up Summer Edition events this 2022, namely from July 16 and 17, July 30 and 31, and August 20 and 21. Located on the second level of Curbside Crafters on North Bridge Road, the Pop Up Summer Edition will treat attendees with more than 50 merchants to shop from. These include, among others, Re-store, a local brand that creates upcycle lifestyle accessories from deadstock textiles; U.TOPI, a brand that makes textile products in small batches as sewn by neighbourhood seamstresses; and Moggoji, a shop that sells skincare products from Korea. You can register for Pops & Events' Pop Up Summer Edition via Google forms.

GATHER: Dog-Friendly Pop Up Event

This dog-friendly pop-up event is organised by pet concept store Aylabella Co. Located at 39 Woodlands Close, the event is set to be held on July 30-31 from 10 AM to 7 PM and will be featuring handmade goods, apparel, accessories, treats for your fur babies, and sweet and savoury food. This event is perfect for pet lovers and pet owners alike who wish to shop trendy items for their fur babies while connecting with other owners and pets!

The Great Singapore Swap at Crane

For a fun and eco-friendly event, we recommend you check out The Great Singapore Swap happening along Kim Yam Road on July 30 and 31 from 11 AM to 5 PM. Whether it's preloved garments or old books, you can find a new home for these items by bringing them to the event and swapping them for other used clothes and books. With the Cloop Fashion Swap, you can swap from five to 10 items from your collection for up to 10 preloved items for S$35 or purchase preloved clothes at $10 per piece. There will also be the Crane Living Home Decor Bargains for those who want to snap up some furniture and knickknacks that won't break the bank!

SG Farmers’ Market

The SG Farmers' Market will be staging a comeback this 2022 following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organised by the Singapore Agro-Food Enterprises Federation Limited (SAFEF), the farmers' market will be held at the Hillion Mall MRT Plaza on July 16 and 17 from 9 AM to 2 PM. Plant-based peeps, the health conscious, and those just curious to scout what offerings could be found in the farmers’ market can expect to find freshly harvested local produce, as well as ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products made of local produce. The produce is sourced from about 20 farms in Singapore and offer goodies like spinach ice cream, aloe vera drink, golden oyster mushroom, fresh frog meat, barramundi, and more.
