Comics for Nature: Storytelling Through Panels and Frames

If you’re a comic fan who wants to share a story about nature and the environment, join this environmental event in Singapore. Comics for Nature is a workshop for those who want to express their nature-inspired ideas through visual arts.

Attendees are required to complete all six sessions starting July 18 until Aug. 29. It will be held at the Central Public Library from 10 AM to 1 PM only.

IPCC AR6- What Does It Mean for Singapore?

The public representatives and academics of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will conduct a webinar via Zoom this coming Aug. 31. The event will highlight IPCC's key findings on global warming, sea-level rise, and the government’s efforts on Climate Science.

Open Think Tank: Consultation on Disposable Plastic Tableware

Happening on Aug. 26, this environmental event in Singapore is an online discussion via Zoom led by Hong Kong-based community organization, Green Hospitality. The event rundown starts at 9 AM until 10:30 AM featuring panel discussion and breakout room sessions.

The event allows attendees to share their relevant inputs and opinions about mobilising the hospitality industry and minimising the impacts of plastic solutions. The panelists are experts from Eat Without Waste and FoodPanda.

Recycling Right: A Sharing by NEA Experts

The National Environment Agency invites you to join this environmental event in Singapore this coming Aug. 27. In collaboration with NEA’s Sustainability Division, the online program will shed light upon the institution’s recycling efforts and policies.

Accounting for Nature

Organised by Eco-Business, this environmental event in Singapore will happen on Aug. 31, 2021, featuring financing solutions for our planet's natural systems.

Together with speakers from Eco-Business, Asia-Pacific of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation (KAS), Tokyo Institute of Technology, Capitals Coalition, and WWF Singapore, they will discuss mechanisms in helping achieve more resilient biodiversity protection. They will also exchange views regarding the financial community and the role of businesses in the Asian region in providing nature-based solutions.

Eco Action Day 2021: The Future of Work

This environmental event in Singapore is a virtual engagement session that will commence on Aug. 26. The online forum will tackle the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic to the global economy, the complex challenges of companies, and the green recovery.

The annual Eco Action Day 2021 invites leading thinkers from government, business, and civic society to talk about the future of employment in this new normal setup. The event is organised by co-Business and supported by Ricoh.
