1. Huayi Chinese Festival of the Arts 2023
The Lunar New Year festivities aren’t over yet! Join Huayi Chinese Festival of the Arts 2023, an annual cultural festival by Esplanade, this weekend and meet local and international artists through music and theatre performances, workshops, and films.
Catch Malaysia’s acclaimed diabolo troupe DiAbolution, The CO Peeps, Nam Hwa Opera, Tango’s Harmonica Trio, Taiwan’s The Wanted, and many more as they showcase their amazing talents to the crowd. Several music artists for the “We are Singer-songwriters!” programme will also be performing at both the Outdoor Theatre and Esplanade Concourse.

2. Drawing Room Deceptions
To see is to believe, as the common saying goes. If you don’t believe in magic, then you might just do when you see it up close! Visit Crane this Sunday and attend Drawing Room Deceptions with international magician Stefan Ebinger to watch and get the chance to take part in magical experiments that will leave you wondering.

3. Subzero: A Snowtown of Drinks & Frequencies
CIEL Social is back to bring you a one-of-a-kind sub-zero ice party experience! Head to Ice Asia, Singapore’s biggest pop-up winter playground, this Saturday night and chill with the beats of DJs Andre Marc (CIEL), Halis (CIEL), and James Selva (Algorhythm). As the temperature drops to -10 degrees Celsius, get your body moving with the slopes, slides, bowling, and other activities at the venue. There’s also an indoor ice bar where you can order a selection of drinks and refreshments.
Get your tickets online via Eventbrite. Each ticket includes a jacket and a pair of boots. Don’t forget to wear thick socks! If you’re the type to get cold easily, you can also bring a pair of gloves, a beanie, and a scarf.

4. Resorts World Sentosa Spring in the SEA 2023
Greet over 100,000 marine animals a “Gong SEA Fa Cai” and celebrate the Year of the Water Rabbit at Resorts World Sentosa’s S.E.A. Aquarium! Discover the symbolisms of auspicious animals like the foxface rabbitfish along the Trail of Fortune and watch an underwater dragon dance, which is roaring its way back after a three-year hiatus. Manta mascots and Ru Yi the Mermaid will also be joining the fun to share with you how we can conserve the beautiful treasures of the sea.

5. Cut Copy Paste 2023
Itching to support local artists, designers, small presses, and zine-makers? There’s now an event specifically made for them! Cut Copy Paste 2023 is a zine fair organised by online bookstore Thing Books and curated by SHRUB. In collaboration with Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF), this inaugural event will feature all kinds of exhibitors, engaging and inspiring talks, workshops, and more for free. 6. Austcham Paddle Club Singapore Dragonboat Newbie Day
Kickstart your 2023 fitness goals and try a different kind of workout with dragon boating! If you’ve enjoyed watching dragon boat races on TV or in person, it’s time to experience what it’s like paddling through the waters. With the help of Singapore's established international teams, paddle along Marina Bay and learn first-hand what this sport is all about.
Register here to join the fun. The fee includes use of life vest and paddle and after-session refreshments. Make sure to bring a cap, small towel, sunscreen, and change of clothes!

7. Bake Your Own Fortune Cat Swiss Roll Cake
Yes, you can bake your cake and eat it too. This weekend, join a special edition class by The Vanilla Bean SG and bake your own Fortune Cat Swiss Roll Cake. With the help of instructor Ivy Toh, know the key ingredients, make the batter and strawberry cheesecake filling, and learn the techniques of baking the sponge, colour mixing, and drawing on the sponge cake.

8. TWILIGHT Flea & Feast 2023
Fill your stomach and tick your must-buy checklist with TWILIGHT Flea & Feast 2023, a halal food and flea market concept inspired by Australia’s hawker markets. There will be bouncy castles, live performances, games, film screenings, and more along with exhibitors where you can shop for clothes, cosmetics, and other variety of products.
Khairil Ardy, Danesh Asyraff Leonadi, ZALELO, Sarah Syazlina, and other artists will also be gracing the stage for some quality entertainment.

9. SoleMates Beer Run
Running and drinking are two activities you wouldn’t think could mix, but let SoleMates Beer Run prove you wrong! This weekend, get ready to have a hoppy way to work out in a “4k-ish fun run event” that stops at three restaurants around Marina Bay. Gather at Chimi’s Marina Bay, which will also be your finish line, then head to Mischief Esplanade and Bayside Drinks & Eats to try a different kind of beer. You can also bring your pup along if they want to join!
