The concert will feature a 40-piece international orchestra and choir who will deliver their own rendition of the film’s music from Oscar-winning composers John Williams, Patrick Doyle, and more.

The four artists will be showcasing their stellar vocals that will complement Filharmonika Orchestra’s musical arrangement, conducted by Mhaze Lim.

MPO’s upcoming concert will bring the magical tunes of popular films “Spirited Away,” “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Princess Mononoke,” and “Castle in the Sky” to the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas stage in KLCC.

Concertgoers can look forward to a screening of the film, accompanied by a live performance featuring a magical rendition of the film’s iconic musical scoring.

Part of the concert’s proceeds will go to The PARC Foundation’s PARC Aralan Project to help underprivileged children through art and music.

This makes Malaysia the first and only stop of “Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert” outside of the United States and the United Kingdom.

“Aladdin in Concert” is making its way to the Esplanade Theatre from Sept. 6 to 7, featuring a spectacular musical score by the acclaimed Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and Symphonia Choralis.
