Nightlife MNL: Kodaline Concert, Plus 9 More Hot Events

1. Kodaline Concert

Dublin-based indie rock band Kodaline will be back in the capital this Thursday for a concert you'll never forget. The band burst into the scene back in 2005 under the name 21 Demands, with their first single "Give Me a Minute" topping the Irish Singles Chart. Kodaline is known for other hits like "Brother," "High Hopes," and more. Tickets are available on Tickelo.

2. Prince Daddy & The Hyena

If you're on the hunt for punk bands, then you can't miss Prince Daddy & The Hyena this Friday at Mow's. This punk band hails from Albany, New York, and comprises members Kory Gregory, Cameron Handford, and Daniel Gorham. They will be joined by local acts Bird Dens, Irrevocable, The Oemons, and Walk Me Home. Get your tickets here.

3. Ebe Dancel With Vias Project

Fans of Ebe Dancel, this is one gig you shouldn't miss! The singer-songwriter will be playing an extended set at seafood restaurant Fin & Claw on Friday, so if you want to be serenaded by songs like "Tulog Na," "Dapit-Hapon," "Bawat Daan," and so much more while you're with your significant other, this is the place to be. 4. Tugtugan Sitenta 2

Celebrate the golden age of Original Pilipino Music with Tugtugan Sitenta 2, which is presented by the Zonta Club of Makati-Ayala and the Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo along with Newport World Resorts. The concert will feature a slew of veteran Filipino artists, including Marco Sison, Mike Hanopol, Leah Navarro, Joey Abando of Boyfriends, and so much more. Tickets are available here.

5. RJ Jimenez: Now

Ryan Jay Jimenez, popularly known as RJ Jimenez, is celebrating his 20th year in the music industry with "RJ Jimenez: Now." Jimenez was a scholar of Pinoy Dream Academy and is known for hits like "Miss Kita Pag Tuesday," "Sa Wakas," and "If We Fall in Love." Get your tickets here.

6. 2023 ATEEZ World Tour

South Korean boy band Ateez is landing in Manila on Saturday! The eight-member group debuted in 2018 under KQ Entertainment and is known for hits like "Bouncy," "Halazia," "Guerrilla," "Wonderland," Deja Vu," "Utopia," and so much more. Tickets are still available via Etix, but not for long!

7. Sadderday

If you're feeling blue, know that it’s okay to be sad. Sadderday is here to tell you that "life's playlist isn't all major chords." An event by Calm Lake Records, the gig will feature the emotional tunes and lyrics of local bands, namely Run Dorothy, Lindenwood, Irrevocable, Sintasan, The Mind Is A Terrible Thing, Sundowner, The Whistle, Creditcard reasons, and Poetryonherskin.

8. G Music Fest

Get ready for one of the biggest music events happening this week! G Music Fest is here, and it's the OPM concert you've been dreaming of. 9. Post Malone ‘If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying’ World Tour

American rapper Austin Richard Post, known by his stage name Post Malone, has Manila as one of the stops of his world tour! The artist, known for hits like "Sunflower," "Congratulations," "Circles," and "Rockstar," among others, embarked on this tour in celebration of his latest album, "Austin," released on July 28, 2023. 10. Joan: Superglue in Asia

Indie alt-pop duo Joan, comprising Arkansas natives Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford, will be back in the Philippines for the third time! Manila is among the duo's stops for Superglue in Asia, including Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and two performances in Singapore for the Formula One Grand Prix. Get your tickets here.
