Dubbed as the “most important meal of the day,” breakfast, as its name suggests, breaks the fasting period overnight. It has been proven that eating a healthy breakfast can improve one's memory, as well as concentration, alertness, and mood.
If you’re a morning person who often skips breakfast because of a busy schedule, we’ve listed some aesthetically pleasing spots in Bangkok that will surely whet your appetite and deserve a spot on your Instagram feed.
Café Tartine has married aesthetic interiors—from its minimalist wine racks and wooden chairs to tiny details on its menu—for over a decade of its existence in Bangkok's dining scene. This French American breakfast spot in Bangkok was established in 2009.
Its breakfast menu (THB129) includes a croissant, a shot of orange juice, and your choice of hot coffee or hot chocolate. It is available on weekdays between 7 AM and 11 AM or until supplies last. The café uses organic ingredients only for its products, including its boulangerie, salad, soups, and homemade dressings. Its wide selection of wines consists of rosé, white, red, and sparkling.
Coffee lovers will surely love the café’s loyalty card, as it offers one free drink after collecting nine stamps for every coffee takeaway purchase. Café Tartine is open everyday from 7 AM-6 PM. View its complete menu here.
Location: Café Tartine, 65 Wireless Road (Entrance on Soi Rumarudee), Lumpini, Pathumwan

The restaurant exudes a cosy space as it incorporates home décors, such as posters and various collectibles. Moreover, its white and light wood interior accentuates the warm atmosphere where you can enjoy your breakfast in peace and quiet.
It offers healthy options like an egg avocado wrap (THB260), grilled chicken salad with sesame dressing (THB250), and classic French toast (THB250) on its breakfast menu. Breakfast Story is open from 7 AM everyday.

This breakfast and brunch restaurant in Bangkok will greet you with its aesthetically pleasing interior that radiates a sense of brisk winter air and good vibes. Kay’s Boutique Breakfast is a homegrown breakfast spot in the city and launched its concept café in New York in 2018.
It is popular for its gourmet breakfast buffet line and à la carte creations. On the menu, you'll find vegetarian-friendly special beverages, green and grain bowls, tartine and sandwich options, pasta dishes, pancakes, French toast, and meal sets.
We recommend filling your morning stomach with its breakfast essential (THB350), which includes two eggs (cooked in your preferred style), homemade thick-cut bacon, Paris ham, sausage, sourdough, and orange juice.
Kay’s Boutique Breakfast is open as early as 6 AM everyday and closes at 4 PM, while the boutique café starts its daily operation at 10 AM until 10 PM.
This casual all-day dining spot is perfect for hipsters, as it features a Scandinavian-industrial interior in an open-air setting. The restaurant is designed with wood grain furnishings and aesthetic pendant lamps.
Your mornings will be filled with "delectable comfort" thanks to Roast Bangkok's specialty coffee, which is served from 8 AM-10 AM. Other hearty meals you should try are stuffed omelets, oven baked eggs, messy breakfast fries, smoothie bowls, harvest salads, breakfast burgers, and avo and salmon, among others.
