Wat Kalyanamit Woramavihaan is a historic temple with deep cultural and religious significance. Founded by Chao Phraya Nikrabdin, the temple was originally part of Kudi Chin Village, where Chinese monks once lived. During the reign of King Rama III, the temple was established and named Wat Kalyanamitr and it became home to the revered Buddha Trirattana Nayok, also known as Luang Por To. The large stucco statue is especially significant among the Chinese community.
The temple also features the Buddha statue of Pang Paliliai (Pa Lelai), which was constructed by King Rama III. Visitors can admire the murals depicting the history of Buddhism and village life during King Rama III’s reign.
