Classical Crossover Trio Il Divo Is Coming to Bangkok for Their Asia Tour
Classical crossover vocal group Il Divo announced on Wednesday, Aug. 16, that they added new shows in four Asian cities, including Bangkok, for their “A New Day Tour” this year.
Happening on Nov. 19 at True Icon Hall, ICONSIAM, the tour is in celebration of the group’s 10th studio album, “For Once in My Life: A Celebration of Motown,” which was released in 2021. The album contains songs in three different languages: English, Spanish, and Italian.
Pre-selling will be at LiveNation from Aug. 30, 10 AM, while general sales will start on Aug. 31, 10 AM.
Tickets range from THB2,500 to THB4,500 and are limited to a maximum of six tickets per purchase. Customers can also claim a collectible ticket (plastic card) in front of the hall before the show starts.
Il Divo is a multinational group created by English TV personality and record executive Simon Cowell for Syco Music, a subsidiary label of Sony Music. They’ve sold over 30 million albums and received 160 gold and platinum records in 33 countries worldwide.
Composed of American tenor David Miller, Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, and French singer-songwriter Sébastien Izambard, the group was originally a quintet before the death of Spanish baritone Carlos Marín on Dec. 21, 2021, due to COVID-19. For more details, visit Il Divo’s official website.
