8. FCCT Movie Club Screening of ‘Angry Annie’
Join the Foreign Correspondents Club (FCC) Thai for the screening of “Angry Annie,” a 2021 French film set in the 1970s when abortion was still illegal. Directed by Blandine Lenoir, it follows the story of Annie (Laure Calamy), who joined an underground group providing free and safe abortions after accidentally becoming pregnant. This eventually sets her on a path of women’s rights activism and brings new meaning to her life.

10. Boss Fight by Super Future Kid
Super Future Kid’s Southeast Asian debut has landed in one of Bangkok’s notable gallery spaces. Titled “Boss Fight,” the exhibit features paintings and sculptures that “celebrate human endurance in the face of adversity and the power to overcome challenges.” It depicts a visual collection of the fact that our daily lives seem like a struggle, and that we need to defeat challenges to proceed to the next stage of human development.
