The 56th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo is set to open this Friday (Dec. 9) and will run until Jan. 1, 2023, at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay with over 860 booths displaying products and cut-throat discounts.
The expo will open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM through mid-December and Christmas, closing at 7 PM on Jan. 1.
The expo will feature ten thematic areas, including Hong Kong Brands Square; Food & Beverages Zone; Grocery & Noodles Zone; Ginseng, Dried Seafood & Soup Packs Zone; Beauty & Healthcare Zone; Fashion & Stylish Products Zone, Living & Household Zone; Social Enterprises Zone; Promotion Zone; and the “Hong Kong Toy Era” thematic zone.
Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong President, Dr. Allen Shi Lop-tak, said in a release on Tuesday (Dec. 6) that this year's expo presents a return to normalcy after three years in the pandemic.
“The scale of this year’s event has almost returned to pre-epidemic levels, with more than 860 outdoor booths. This is a sign that life is getting back to normal and business confidence is rising,” Dr. Allen said.
Visitors will have to pay HK$8 for admission in the 24-day-long event, while children with a height shorter than one metreer, seniors aged 65 or above, and people with disabilities can visit the expo for free.
