Have a Delightful 'ExBEERience' at Carlsberg's Pop-Up in Petaling Jaya

Love munching on spicy food while gulping down a cold glass of delicious beer? If you answered yes, then this is your sign to go to Petaling Jaya and visit Carlsberg’s pop-up event in JioSpace, happening until Sept. 2!

As part of its “Real Spicy, Real Smooth” campaign, Carlsberg is giving its guests a taste of its Smooth Draught beer, along with the delectable creations of culinary master KC Choong. Ready your palate for spicy bites like the Devil’s Curry Pocket Buns, Mala Sui Yoke, and Nasi Lemak Bomb.

Other hot treats you can pair with your Carlsberg beer are ice cream brand Churn’s Beer-Gato, a unique version of the classic affogato drowned in beer, and Bean Jr.’s “dessert on fire,” Mala Tau Fu Fa.

Adding flair to the event is the exclusive workshop with Soma Bar’s Jason Julian, where you can concoct your own cocktails. There will also be a photo booth at the event where you can snap some photos with your buddies, or you can play AR games and win exclusive prizes.

Of course, a party wouldn’t be complete without electrifying tunes to amplify the fun! Various musicians and DJs, including Singapore’s Inquisitive and local acts like Ramsey Westwood and DJ Kenji, will be pumping up the crowd with their energetic tracks.

You can also get your hands on exclusive event merchandise, including quirky T-shirts from APOM and phone charms from Gumme, among many others.

The pop-up event is open from 5 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and from 11 AM to 11 PM on weekends. You can also bring your furry buddies to its pet-friendly party on weekends, which is open from 11 AM to 2 PM and features lots of fun activities for you and your four-legged friends.
