Hallyu Star Cha Eun-woo to Hold Solo Tour 'Just One 10 Minute' in 2024

Heads up, Arohas and K-Drama fans! Hallyu sensation Cha Eun-woo might be heading to your city soon, as the South Korean artist has announced the dates for his 2024 solo tour, with seven confirmed cities in Asia.

Titled “Just One 10 Minute,” the tour will kick off in Seoul on Feb. 17, followed by stops in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 24, Bangkok on March 9, and Manila on March 16. The tour will go on with a two-day concert in Japan on March 30-31, then in Singapore on April 13 and Jakarta on April 20.

The 2024 tour will be Eun-woo's first solo fan concert since his debut in 2014 as an actor in the film “My Brilliant Life” and as a member of K-Pop boy group ASTRO in 2016.

While further details regarding the tour, including venues and ticket prices, are yet to be unveiled, fans can expect to see various sides of the actor on his first solo concert tour.

Known for his “face genius” status, Cha Eun-woo has been making waves both in the K-Pop and K-drama scenes because of his stunning visuals, coupled with an all-around talent. He has previously starred in hit TV shows “Gangnam Beauty,” “True Beauty,” and most recently, Viu’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog.”

BTOB Heads to Malaysia for their ‘3,2,1 GO! MELympic’ Fan-Con this April

BTOB’s celebrating their 13th Debut Anniversary!

Popular K-pop boy group BTOB will be making their way to Malaysia real soon for their 2025 BTOB FAN CON “3,2,1 GO! MELympic” at the Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Apr. 19, 2025.

While originally having six members, only Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, and Peniel will be participating in the fan concert. Changsub won’t be participating due to undisclosed reasons, while Sungjae is currently promoting his work as an actor. 

This will mark BTOB’s return to Malaysia since 2018, after their first solo performance at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

BTOB – Born To Beat

BTOB, an acronym for Born to Beat, is a six-member boy group that debuted in 2012 under Cube Entertainment. Comprised of members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Sungjae, the group has received mainstream success since their debut, most especially with their ballad tracks “It’s Okay,” “Remember That,” “Missing You,” and more. 

They are renowned for their vocal prowess, winning the “Best Vocal Group” award in numerous music award shows in South Korea. 

BTOB is currently managed by BtoB Company, a sub-label under DOD Entertainment. The BTOB group activities of all the members are managed by BtoB Company, while Changsub and Sungjae have signed contracts with Fantagio and IWill Media, respectively, for their solo activities.

Taiwanese Retro Band Icyball to Hold '2025 Day By Day' Tour in Malaysia

Icyball (冰球乐团) is making their highly anticipated return to Malaysia this May 2025!

On Feb. 24, 2025, the Taiwanese quartet announced that they will be holding their “2025 Day By Day” Tour in May 2025, performing in Macau, Singapore, and Malaysia

Known for their charming retro sound combining jazz, vintage pop, electronic, and poetic lyrics, Icyball has captivated fans since their debut album “I’m So Gentle” in 2021. They have amassed millions of streams on most of their songs across different platforms, solidifying their status as a band to watch out for. 

The band last performed in Malaysia in 2023 for their “Boyz On Top” Asia tour, and was met with warm positive vibes from their fans. 

Icyball will be performing in Malaysia on May 17, 2025 at 8 PM, at the Jio Space. Tickets for the “2025 Day By Day” show in Malaysia are now available on the Ticketek website. Tickets to the show are priced at RM238 (PS3), RM288 (PS2), RM338 (PS1), and RM388 (VIP). Buy your tickets here.

Japanese Musician Yuika Brings First Asia Tour to Kuala Lumpur this April

Heads up, Malaysian J-Pop fans! Singer-songwriter Yuika (ユイカ) is coming to Kuala Lumpur this April!

The rising J-Pop sensation known for her viral love songs is officially going on tour this April. Her first Asia tour kicks off on Apr. 17 in Shanghai, followed by Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur.

The KL show will take place on Apr. 20, 8 PM at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, marking the artist’s first performance in Southeast Asia. Organized by IchigoLive, ticket sales commence on Feb. 24 at 2 PM via BookMyShow

All ticket zones have numbered seating and are priced at RM360 for VIP, RM260 for GA, and RM360 for Duo (package set of two tickets). VIP tickets also include exclusive perks such as early access to the venue and merch counters, and an autograph session with Yuika!

About Yuika

Yuika burst onto the scene in 2021 with her self-composed track, “Sukidakara (Because I Like You)," which was inspired by a secret crush on her classmate. Written at 16, the song quickly went viral, captivating hearts worldwide and establishing her as one of the most promising new artists in J-Pop.

Bet you didn’t see this coming!

K-Pop artists T-ARA, Hyolyn, and Zion.T are set to perform at the National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur this May 31, 2025, for the YelloO Concert!

This marks T-ARA and Hyolyn’s return to Kuala Lumpur, following their last performances in 2017 and 2019 respectively. This will also be Zion.T’s very first performance in Malaysia.

T-ARA first debuted in 2009, and achieved commercial success with their 2011 single “Roly Poly.” They are one of the best-selling girl groups of all time,  and one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea as of 2024.

Hyolyn debuted as a member of SISTAR in 2010 and their sub-unit SISTAR19. As part of SISTAR, their biggest hits were “Alone,” “Touch My Body,” and “Give It To Me.” As a solo artist, one of her biggest hits is her song “달리(Dally)” featuring South Korean rapper and producer Gray. 

Zion.T is a South Korean hip hop and R&B singer-songwriter who rose to mainstream success with his 2014 single “Yanghwa Bridge.” Some of his more famous songs are “Hello Tutorial” featuring Seulgi of Red Velvet, “No Makeup,” and “Just” with Crush.

A Permanent Digital Art Space is Opening its Doors in Kuala Lumpur Soon

Immersive art spaces have been popping in and out of Kuala Lumpur, but Immersify KL aims to be a mainstay in the city. This never-before-seen large-scale immersive art space is set to open on Feb. 28, 2025, at The Labs in Bukit Bintang City Centre, featuring 11 specially designed zones that free the mind, inspire learning, and spark imagination in everyone. 

This new art exhibition is Malaysia’s first permanent purpose-built multi-dimensional media gallery, spanning 30,000 square feet, and uses South Korean storytelling and innovative media art that is infused with Malaysia’s vibrant cultural identity. 

The space also boasts spatial 360° sounds and 12-meter-high walls, with breathtaking larger-than-life installations that allow visitors to “journey beyond imagination” with them. 

Immersify KL has 11 differently themed zones, each incorporating installations, 3D sounds, and quality visuals that are sure to awe visitors and gallery-goers from all walks of life.

Zone 1: Glowing Garden: Cloud-like flowers, and a celestial horizon.

Zone 2: Mystic Falls: Cascading waters, and a mystic waterfall. 

Zone 3: Moonlight Memories: See how celestial and terrestrial forms merge.

Zone 4: Starlight Garden: Like straight out of a fairy tale, with twinkling stars and glimmering hues.

Zone 5: Turning Moment: A 3D sanctum that brings matter to life through the power of light.

Zone 6: Illusion Road: Vivid levitating objects and rippling waves.

Zone 7: Neon Jungle: Malaysian wildlife gleaming and glowing in a fluorescent rainforest.

Zone 8: Canvas Oceania: Breathe life into your artwork on an interactive pecan canvas.

Zone 9: Prism Shine: Indulge in a Malaysian-inspired tapestry of colors and patterns.

Zone 10: Surreal World: A surreal escape from the conventional and where fantasy knows no bounds. 

Zone 11: Art Gallery: Immerse in the works of Klimt, Monet, and Gogh with lights, sounds, and emotion. 

Apart from the 11 zones, a café called mm Café will also open for visitors to replenish their energies and feast on some bites

Early Bird Prices are the following: RM60 (Adults, 13 years & above), RM40 (Children, 5 to 12 years), RM50 (Adults, MyKad holders), RM30 (Children, MyKid/MyKad holders). There are also Family Packages available for MyKad Holders: RM123 (2 Adults + 1 Child), and RM151 (2 Adults + 2 Children).

Titled “Malam Mendengar (Night of Listening)," the show will take place at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on May 16, 2025, at 8 PM. Known for her emotional vocals, poignant lyrics, and captivating stage presence, Nadin promises an unforgettable evening for her Malaysian fans.

Witness a Night of Malaysian Grandeur with “Classical Treasures”

Classical music lovers, prepare for an evening filled with beautiful symphonies and operatic magnificence. 

The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) presents “Classical Treasures,” a concert featuring some of the world’s most beloved compositions. The symphonic evening is set for April 5, 2025, at the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS at 8PM, with Filipino conductor Gerard Salonga helming the orchestra. Soprano Datuk Syafinaz Selamat will also make an appearance at this momentous spring event, performing Gounod’s “Ah! Je veux vivre and Mozart’s “Der Hölle Rache.

World-renowned compositions such as Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville: Overture,” Chopin’s “Nocturne No. 2 in E flat major,” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 7 will be heard during the evening, making for an unparalleled experience filled with classical music. 

"Romeo and Juliet: Juliet’s Waltz" by Charles Gounod and Mozart's "The Magic Flute: Queen of the Night Aria" will round out the concert's setlist.
