Revamped Flora Park Children's Playground Now Open to Public

The Flora Park Children's Playground finally opened to the public following a reconstruction that saw the area with a new design.

The revamped playground, which spans 1,500 square meters, now sports a natural jungle adventure theme perfect for kids aged two to six years old. It opened just this week on Monday, March 27, according to the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) via the Government Information Bureau of Macao on March 24.

Located inside Flora Park beside the kindergarten school Jardim de Infância D. José da Costa Nunes, the public may enjoy the playground when the institution does not use it for its teaching activities.

The IAM has added a children's toy car lane in the playground, wooden houses with slides, a themed beehive slide, and musical and informative play facilities for kids to enjoy. There are also seamless safety mats throughout the playground, as well as outdoor wash basins and a shaded waiting area for parents and guardians.

The Flora Park Children's Playground is open from 6 PM-10 PM from Mondays to Fridays, 1 PM-10 PM on Saturdays, and 8 AM-10 PM on Sundays, kindergarten holidays, and public holidays.
