“I asked a girl out on a date and her reply was: ’Sure. I'm free Saturday. Let’s have dinner at Wolfgang?’ your thoughts?” the tweet read.

Tan’s post elicited a range of sizzling responses, some of which were triggered and quickly judged his date while others remained analytical with their arguments.

Hailing from New York City, Wolfgang is undoubtedly one of the upscale steakhouses in the Philippines, specifically in Metro Manila. Their sizzling hot steaks are cooked using the best USDA Prime Black Angus meats that undergo the dry aging process.

Wooden Horse Steakhouse

The Wooden Horse Steakhouse is yet another restaurant in Metro Manila that specializes in serving certified Angus beef steaks. They boast of their flavorful and juicy steak menu offered at reasonable prices.

Established in 2010, this steakhouse in Alabang is owned by a Japanese citizen named Koichi Tabei, who is also the chef’s restaurant.

Wooden Horse Steakhouse aims to provide an authentic dining experience from Texas, in which they traveled to learn firsthand knowledge of the diverse culinary options available in the state.

One of the popular shopping malls in Metro Manila to go to for family bonding or romantic dates is none other than Greenbelt.

Dillingers 1903 Steak and Brew is a sophisticated restaurant-bar and steakhouse that can be found in Greenbelt 3. The restaurant hosts live bands to serenade the audience, which makes it an ideal setup for a fancy date night. Despite its luxurious and chill ambiance, there are no dress codes for diners.

You can indulge in their reasonably priced steak options for the main course, such as the Ribeye Steak (P995), the Pepper Steak (795), and the Filet Mignon (P845), among others.

Mario’s Restaurant 

Mario’s in Tomas Morato, Quezon City was launched in 1974. The traditional Spanish fine dining restaurant became a popular place to celebrate various occasions such as family bonding dinners, engagement proposals, and of course, romantic dates!

This family-owned steakhouse is famous for serving affordable yet quality local and premium steaks in Quezon City.

For solo meals, they serve Salisbury Steak (P245), USDA Ribeye (P680), and Brazilian Ribeye Steak (P550).

For couples, we recommend trying their “Jowa” Party Tray for only P1,300 which includes up to 380 grams of USDA prime ribeye, mashed potato, and pepper creamon the side.
