1. Whisky Live Manila and Bar Show 2022

Calling all whisky lovers! This weekend, the biggest whisky-tasting event in the world is coming to Manila for the fifth time. Aside from whisky, guests will have the chance to try various beverages including scotch, bourbon, and blends from all over the world.

There will also be master classes, a bartending competition, best booth contest, best dressed competition, and whisky awards. You may buy your tickets here.

2. Ji Chang Wok ‘Reach You’ Fan Meeting

South Korean actor Ji Chang Wok will be holding his fan meeting in Manila this weekend in collaboration with clothing company Bench. Some of his notable roles include those in the TV series “Smile Again,” “Empress Ki,” “Suspicious Partner,” “Melting Me Softly,” and more.

The fan meeting kicked off last Oct. 23 at Sejong University Daeyang Hall, South Korea. Aside from the Philippines, the actor will also visit Jakarta as part of his tour. To buy or view tickets, visit SM Tickets online.

3. TAN ‘First Step: To All Nations’ Fan Meeting

Filo sodas, unite! TAN, or To All Nations, is coming to Manila for a free fan meeting or mini tour this weekend. TAN is a seven-member K-pop boy group under Think Entertainment who made their debut in March 2022.

The group was brought together through the MBC survival show “Extreme Debut: Wild Idol,” which consists of Sunghyuk, Jaejun, Changsun, Jooan, Jiseong, Hyunyeop, and Taehoon. Apart from their visit to Manila, the group will also meet their fans in Cebu and Cagayan De Oro on Nov. 12 and 13, respectively.

4. Russ ‘The Journey is Everything World Tour’ in Manila

“Losin Control,” “3:15 (Breathe),” and “Seduce” are some of Russ’ top hit tracks. This coming weekend, the American rapper and songwriter will be performing in Manila as part of his “The Journey is Everything” world tour. 5. Japanese Experience on Integration of Urban Development and Railway Transport System, Transit-oriented Development (TOD)

If you’re in for some thought-provoking talk, the Ateneo de Manila University will be hosting a lecture titled "Japanese Experience on Integration of Urban Development and Railway Transport System, Transit-oriented Development (TOD)." This event is part of the 3rd JICA Chair Lecture Series of the Ateneo Japanese Studies Program and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

The program will include discussions on various topics including the history of the Japanese Railway Network, sustainable urban development, transportation, and environment, among others. The deadline for onsite registration closed on Oct. 31, but you can still join the lecture via Zoom and livestream on Ateneo Japanese Studies Program Facebook account.

6. PHILCONSTRUCT Manila 2022

The hybrid edition of PHILCONSTRUCT Manila kicked off last Nov. 3 and will run until Nov. 6. The construction event aims to provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about new brands that specialize in indoor and outdoor displays, discover new products, as well as meet and connect people from the construction industry. 7. Unveil Wedding Fair

For couples who are about to get married, we recommend checking out this wedding fair to be hosted by Edsa Shangri-La Manila this weekend. The “Unveil Wedding Fair” is an event where engaged couples may acquire inspiration for their big day’s arrangements, such as venue selection, food styles, and menu ideas. Moreover, a grand fashion show of bridal couture from prominent Filipino designers will be featured at the event. Register here.

8. ‘My Sweet Lady’ Concert Series

This event is the fourth installment of the Wish Date 4 concert, starring Ritz Azul and Arnold Reyes. “My Sweet Lady” tells the passionate story of true love combined with live performances of OPM songs.

The performers include OPM artists and bands featuring Kimberly Baluzo, Bradz, December Avenue, Nyoy Volante, Mark Michael Garcia, and Plethora.

9. ‘Instilled Life’ Art Exhibit

Provenance Art Gallery will be hosting an art exhibit titled “INSTILLED LIFE” by Melvin Culaba this weekend. The exhibit centers on “objects with a story. Things with a history. Feelings and sentiments brought about by a moment captured in still life.”

The goal of the artist is to impart to the audience not only the significance of each individual object but also the importance of imbuing one's life with meaning and surrounding oneself with people and things that are valuable to their heart.
