"The Reconciliation Dinner," which was staged at the Power Mac Center Blackbox Theater at Circuit Makati from May 13-28, will be holding a rerun at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City this August.

The play's official Facebook page made the announcement on Monday, June 12. Tickets will be available on Ticket2Me, so keep your eyes peeled!

A one-act play by Floy Quinto and directed by Dexter Santos, "The Reconciliation Dinner" centers on two middle-class families, the Medinas and Valderamas. Dina and Susan, two middle-aged women, were close friends until Dina and her husband Bert supported former President Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 elections and, later, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the 2022 elections.

A year after the 2022 elections, Dina and Susan attempt to repair their friendship with a reconciliation dinner with their partisan families – but it isn't as easy as it seems as the dinner conversation veers to politics.

"The Reconciliation Dinner" is a timely play that attempts to extend a hand to the other side of the fence, offering a glimpse into how our political choices affect our lives and those around us, as well as our nation's political system through the eyes of the middle class.
