Fully Vaxxed Groups of 5 Allowed to Dine In at 11 Hawker Centres, 7 Coffee Shops Starting Nov. 23

Fully vaccinated individuals can now dine in at an initial batch of 11 hawker centres and seven coffee shops beginning on Nov. 23 following consultations between the National Environmental Agency (NEA) and the Hawkers' Associations.

Those who are partially vaccinated and unvaccinated are only allowed to purchase food for takeaway. The 11 hawker centres will put in place vaccination checks at access points by the said date to be able to accommodate five vaccinated persons in a dine-in setup, as per a joint advisory by the NEA and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) on Nov. 20.

The same goes for coffee shops that have implemented necessary safety control measures, with the SFA consulting with coffee shop associations and operators to make this possible.

The required measures stipulate that coffeeshops must control access to their premises by barring off areas and having specific entry points, as well as doing vaccination status checks for all patrons.

More establishments are expected to follow suit. To see the list of the 11 hawker centres and seven coffee shops that will allow vaccinated groups of five from Nov. 23, go here.
