Lobster Beach — Art Exhibition by Philip Colbert at Tanjong Beach Club

From Jan. 24 to Feb. 15, 2026, Tanjong Beach Club transforms into a vibrant open-air gallery with "Lobster Beach," an art exhibition by Philip Colbert, presented in partnership with Whitestone Gallery Singapore. Open daily and free to the public, this immersive beachfront showcase invites visitors of all ages to experience contemporary art in a relaxed, sun-soaked setting where creativity meets the shoreline.

At the center of the exhibition stands Colbert’s instantly recognizable "Ice Cream Lobster," surrounded by oversized inflatable sea creatures that create a playful and surreal sculptural landscape against the ocean backdrop. The installation turns the beach into a dynamic visual playground, encouraging exploration, photo moments, and spontaneous interaction far removed from the traditional gallery environment.

Often described as the “godson of Andy Warhol,” Philip Colbert is known for his bold hyper-pop aesthetic and lobster alter ego, which he uses to explore digital culture, humor, and art history. His large-scale installations have appeared across London, Rome, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Switzerland.
