Space Fest @ EXPO Brings Out-of-this-World Activities, World Cup Screening

Let your little astronaut experience an out-of-this world festival as Singapore’s largest space-themed festival will kick off on Dec. 3-30.

Presented by Singapore EXPO, the Space Fest @ EXPO will feature various exciting activities for children and adults. These include virtual reality games, 5D cinema, themed food and retail pop-ups, and more.

There will be two activity shuttle zones dedicated to space-themed activities, where aspiring space cadets and explorers can join. Those who will participate at the Activity Shuttle Zone 1 will receive tickets that can be redeemed for a workshop (planet creation, build a rocket, space discovery), a VR experience, and arcade gameplay.

In Zone 1, visitors can explore the planetarium and the Vortex tunnel, meet and greet with astronaut mascots, and collect their trainee passport to redeem a prize at the end of their journey.

Activity Zone 2, on the other hand, includes activities in the Space Hangar, KF1’s Kiddy Space Karts, indoor inflatable theme park, and the first mobile 5D cinema in the city-state. Once you’ve earned a Space Cadet passport, you may collect three more stamps in exchange for a bag of limited-edition Space Fest collectibles and goodies.

After a day filled with space exploration, football fans will be treated to a screening of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches. The free screening will take place at the Satellite Station outside of Hall 4 on nine nights starting on Dec. 2. Check out the complete schedule below:

• 17 Dec – Movie screening, Live Music from 8PM, Match #63 at 11PM
• 18 Dec – Movie screening, Live Music from 7.30PM, FINALS at 11PM
