Step into a neon-lit time machine as SquareRoom brings a one-night-only retro takeover to D’Marquee @ Downtown East on Aug. 23, 2025, from 8 PM onwards. This electrifying party will rewind the decades, immersing you in the sound and spirit of the 80s and 90s with booming beats, fog machines, laser shows, and arcade-inspired vibes.
The soundtrack of the night comes courtesy of Singapore’s own DJ legends Aldrin Quek and Leonard T, who will spin deep cuts, euphoric remixes, and forgotten floor-fillers that defined a generation. Adding to the nostalgia are the original Mambo podium dancers, returning to ignite the stage with their iconic moves. To help you join in, weekly retro dance tutorials are being run ahead of the big night.
Come dressed in your boldest retro attire for the iconic costume contest, with prizes awaiting the most daring time travelers. Tickets are priced at S$25 for Early Bird, S$27 with promo code NTUC10 for NTUC members, and S$30 for the public, each inclusive of one standard drink.
