1. Mapletree Kids' Craft Workshop

Here’s where you can take your kids this Tuesday! Sign up for the Mapletree Kids' Craft Workshop and let your little ones build their mini replicas of the Fullerton Lighthouse, a navigational aid once used to guide ships into Singapore Harbour, through a step-by-step folding guide. Experienced teachers will be present to make sure that everybody will have fun. In addition, the workshop will be offering a special crafting segment on the Little Red Box to commemorate LKY100, or the 100th birth anniversary of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew. 2. I’m Proud of You ChampsFest 2023

“I’m proud of you!” These may seem like simple words to us, but they can significantly make a difference in a child’s development. To give parents more opportunities to say these words, MindChamps, the mastermind behind the “I’m Proud of You” movement, is organising a six-day event filled with fun and exciting activities. 3. Life Worlds: Landscapes, Cities and Beyond

Gardens by the Bay’s three-lecture series, “Landscapes and Sustainability,” is starting this Thursday with an insightful talk that explores the many ways in which “living landscape of many types and at multiple scales can address pressing climate, environmental, sustainability, and social issues.”

Presented by Chris Reed, STOSS founding director and Landscape Architecture professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, the lecture will give attendees an overview of the challenges designers face today and the strategic designs they integrate for sustainability and resiliency. 4. POP TOY SHOW Singapore 2023

Immerse yourself in the world of pop culture at POP TOY SHOW (PTS) Singapore. 5. Ballet Under the Stars 2023

Ballet is an art form known to be performed indoors, but the Singapore Ballet is planning to change that mindset with its upcoming event at Fort Canning Park this weekend. Prepare to be dazzled with an elegant ballet performance, all while gazing at the beauty of the starry night. Get your tickets via SISTIC. This is a free-seating performance, so you might want to arrive early to secure a good spot!

6. Pocari Sweat Run 2023

Get ready to run for good health at the Pocari Sweat Run 2023. Endorsed by Singapore Athletics, this year’s race will host the first-ever 2.4-kilometre National Championships. If you want to run a longer distance, there’s also a virtual run with five preferred distances: 2.4km, 7km, 12km, 17km, and 24km. Register here.

7. Four-Hands Cookout

Meet one-MICHELIN-starred celebrity chef Nancy Silverton and Burnt Ends’ chef Dave Pynt at this one-day-only pop-up event at Osteria Mozza Singapore, the only Asian outpost of Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles. Chef Nancy will be presenting her iconic creations, like the “Sooner Smash” and “Classic Burger” burgers made with dry-aged Spacca beef patties, to hungry guests, while chef Dave will be putting his Beef Katsu Sando and Loaded Sanger Fries to the table.
