Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) Moves Closer to Introducing Digital HKD
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority begins its first pilot programme for the e-Hong Kong Dollar on May 18. The new proposed digital currency will go through a series of tests and evaluations to assess the benefits it could bring to Hong Kong’s economy.
