Hosted by the French Embassy in Thailand, Sawasdee France, and other European and Thai partners, the “Krung Thep Creative Streets” is in celebration of European Heritage Days 2025.

An entire whale, depicted in vibrant pop-art blue and punchy pinks, adorns the walls outside PMQ, leaving a colorful legacy of HKwalls 2025. The festival, which ran alongside Art Central and Art Basel, proved that while museums have their place, some of the most powerful art belongs on the streets.

The nine-day festival will see the walls of the Central and Western districts of Hong Kong painted with striking murals.

This March, Hong Kong’s iconic Observation Wheel will play host to a bold, larger-than-life showcase of street culture.

Here are some exhibits and events to catch in Hong Kong this Arts Month!

Happening from March 23 to 31, the nine-day festival will feature local and international street artists who will paint the vibrant alleys of Hong Kong with their head-turning works.

The non-profit arts collective aims to create opportunities for local and international artists in the city streets to explore the realm of street art, graffiti, and muralism.

Venture onto the streets of Hong Kong with a camera and Octopus to scour over the city’s most prominent graffiti artists defining the streets.
