HKWALLS Street Art Festival to Kick Off Its 2024 Edition This March
Hong Kong will be painted in many hues this March as the annual HKWALLS Street Art Festival makes its return for its 9th edition!
Happening from March 23 to 31, the nine-day festival will feature local and international street artists who will paint the vibrant alleys of Hong Kong with their head-turning works. Art lovers can also look forward to a wide array of exhibitions, workshops, site interventions, and more across the city during the festival.
As of this writing, confirmed international artists participating in the festival includes Hera from Germany, known for her works in books like “Graffiti Woman,” “Mural Masters,” and “Herakut - The Perfect Merge,” among others.
Also joining the lineup are award-winning Irish artist Aches, Belgium-based stencil artist Jaune, Prague’s Trafo Gallery and MeetFactory’s Michal Škapa, France-based artist Maye, CYRCLE art collective co-founder Rabi, and multifaceted Italian artist Alice Pasquini.
These artists’ exhibitions will be showcased around the Central and Western District, among other locations. There will also be digital artworks to be presented at the Sino LuminArt Façade in Tsim Sha Tsui.
