BMA Invites Couples to Register Marriage at ‘Silom of Love @Bangrak’

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is inviting couples who are planning to tie the knot this year to register their marriage at the “Silom of Love @Bangrak” Valentine’s Day event.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt presided the press conference last week to announce the event, which will take place on Feb. 14 at the 17th floor of the United Center Building located along Silom Road in BangRak District. Each couple will receive special ceremonies and a souvenir from the government office. They’ll also have the chance to be part of a lottery where they can win one out of 10 gold marriage certificates.

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, the BangRak District Office will only accept 599 couples who will pre-register through the QR Code shared on their Facebook. Those who are planning to wed foreign nationals, however, will need to visit the district office in person to submit the necessary documents.

For more information, call the Registration Department of the BangRak District Office at 02 236 1513 or 02 236 1395 ext. 6230-34.
