France will bring French football to Thailand, as the Trophée des Champions makes its way to Bangkok. The Rajamangala Stadium will host the match on Aug. 5.

Actress-turned-beauty queen Anna Suengam-iam bested 29 other candidates at the Miss Universe Thailand 2022 pageant held at True Icon Hall on Saturday, July 30.
During the final question and answer portion, Anna was asked, “As our world is facing critical issues such as wars, pandemics, economic recessions, and many people around the world feel hopeless, if you were crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2022, how would you empower them?”
The 23-year-old said, “I want to tell all of you that you are not the only one feeling that way. Like you, I also feel hopeless and tired. However, I want you to know that we can adapt and adjust ourselves and learn how to rise when we fall. So whatever situation you are facing, believe that you can handle it. If I did, I know you can too.”
Anna took home the golden Mouawad crown and a Miss Universe Thailand contract worth THB1 million.
