Thai Airways Ranks 4th at Skytrax’s World’s Best Cabin Staff in 2022

Thailand’s flag carrier, Thai Airways, took the fourth spot for the best airline staff in the world at Skytrax’s World Airline Awards 2022. In a ranking released by Skytrax, Thai Airways placed behind Singapore Airlines (1st), ANA All Nippon Airways (2nd), and Garuda Indonesia (3rd).

Other countries that made it to the top 10 were Japan Airlines (5th), Qatar Airways (6th), Hainan Airlines (7th), Asiana Airlines (8th), EVA Air (9th), and Cathay Pacific (10th). Out of all the countries that dominated this award category, Qatar is the only non-Asian nation that made the cut.

The survey, which covered more than 350 airlines worldwide, was conducted from August 2021 to September 2022. Thousands of respondents from 100 nations participated to determine the winners based on airline safety, flight meals, airport queues, booking, inflight services, and cabin crew hospitality.

Dubbed as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” Skytrax’s World Airline Awards is an annual ranking of the globe’s best airlines. It was established in 1999 to honour and celebrate the work and service of the aviation workforce. Click here to see the full list of 2022 winners.
