Want to Work With Fashion Icons? Here’s How You Can Volunteer for This Year’s Thailand Fashion Week
It’s that time of the year again! Luxury fashion houses are in full swing after the pandemic restrictions eased off. They are back on the physical runway to showcase their newest and upcoming collections inspired by the coming seasons.
Thailand is expected to be filled with celebrities who will head to the Thailand Fashion Week (TFW) at Varavela on Nov. 29-30, 2022. Aside from the most anticipated outfits of stars seating in the front rows, TFW will feature Spring-Summer 2023 collections of renowned and upcoming haute couture, ready-to-wear, avant-garde, and accessories and footwear brands.
Considering TFW is one of the major events in the city of smiles, there are plenty of pre- and post-planning tasks that must be done to ensure the success of the event.
To pull off the perfect fashion show coverage, TFW organisers are looking for volunteers who are willing to work at a world-class event.
Everyone aged 18 years old and above is welcome to sign up for the volunteer list, but you must be energetic to qualify. Although volunteer experience is not required, it can be an advantage.
Those who wish to apply as volunteers must be willing to participate in all days of the event and must arrive at the venue at least two hours before the fashion show begins.
Volunteers will be stationed either at the front of the house or backstage. In addition, meals will be provided in between shows. Inviting friends and family is accepted, but everyone must purchase a ticket first to enter the venue.
According to the TFW website, they are searching for volunteers to join the PR team, the hospitality team, the choreography team, the team that welcomes VIP guests, the production team during the show, the photography or media team of TFW, the models, and the show director.
In case you’re not sure which department you would like to be included in, you can tick the “give me any department, I’ll do it. I just want to be there” box.
