Cat Cafés in Hong Kong for A ‘Purrfect’ Afternoon Tea Sesh
Aside from the typical hipster coffeeshops and themed restaurants, why not step up your café hopping and chill out with these adorable felines while sipping your favourite coffee or tea? Who knows, you might even take home a new furry friend as most of these cafés offer adoption.
Here are some cat-friendly coffeehouses you should explore around Hong Kong.
Cats Tea Room
The Cats Tea Room was established to help stray cats by raising donations and organising adoptions. Opened in 2014, this cat café in Hong Kong has two branches located at Tsim Sha Tsui and Tsuen Wan (with over 20 cats).
The café boasts a cosy interior design filled with warm colours and a cat tree in the middle. The chairs are attached on the ground, perfect for Asians’ floor-sitting culture while enjoying food and drinks or playing board games.
Guests can also feed the cats and buy treats for HK$12 only. The minimum food order ranges from HK$68 to HK$79. If you’re interested to adopt, see the list of cats waiting for adoption through this link.
