Bengal Brothers Deluxe: New Chapter for Wan Chai’s Indian Street Food Fave

Bengal Brothers, the crowd-favourite Indian eatery that brought the scintillating flavours of Kolkata and Delhi to Hong Kong's bustling streets, is set to expand their domain and launch their first dine-in venue in the neighbourhood. Famed for their kathi rolls to-go, Bengal Brothers is reopening with a new, expanded concept - Bengal Brothers Wan Chai.

Designed by the renowned Hong Kong-based Brash Atelier, the revamped space features retro diner-style booths and stools that echo the inviting and sociable atmosphere of Indian dining culture. The space pays homage to the quintessential roadside stalls, daily canteens, and coffee houses that define the social fabric of the Indian subcontinent.

In the words of co-founder Vidur, these places are "more than just spots for sustenance. They are the vibrant epicentres that foster a unique sense of community across India, catering to everyone – from rickshaw haulers and traders to businessmen and housewives."

Responding to popular demand, Bengal Brothers Wan Chai unveils an extended menu of irresistible street food delights designed to be enjoyed by all. The offerings span a diverse and rich palate, from Chaat’s and beer bites to small plates, curries, roasts, and sweets that have been crafted for sharing.

Of course, the heart of the Bengal Brothers will continue to be their Signature Kathi Rolls; which wrap savoury fillings such as chicken tikka, lamb seekh kebab, and chargrilled achaari paneer in a flaky paratha flatbread seasoned with tangy chutneys.

To complement the vibrant food offerings, Bengal Brothers Wan Chai has also put out a brand new beverage program. The cocktail menu, laced with tropical flair, features standouts like the Sugarcane Smash and Pallonji’s Fizz. A curated selection of highballs, cold beers, wines, and scotch are also on offer.
