BrewDog Partners with Budweiser China to Open New Bar in LKF This Autumn
September 14, 2023
BrewDog has recently announced a grand return to Hong Kong's renowned nightlife district, Lan Kwai Fong, with the launch of a brand-new BrewDog bar.
The move comes as not just another feather in BrewDog's cap but is part of their expansion into the APAC market, beginning with this joint venture alongside beer titan Budweiser China. The city first got a taste of BrewDog with a brick-and-mortar venue on Hollywood Road that opened back in February 2016 that has since unfortunately shuttered.
BrewDog has unveiled an ambitious plan to multiply its bar presence across the SAR and Greater China area over the upcoming five years. The strategy fits into the beer company’s global plan to introduce 200 venues situated in key locales internationally and is a testament to the company’s aspirations of reaching a revenue pinnacle exceeding £1 billion.
James Watt, CEO of BrewDog, expressed his enthusiasm saying “We’re hugely excited to bring BrewDog Hong Kong and be part of the iconic Lan Kwai Fong district. This is first of many bold plans with our joint-venture partner Budweiser China, which will see us bring BrewDog to every corner of the world’s biggest beer market.”
Slated to open its doors this autumn, the bar promises to serve up a delightful blend of BrewDog's signature beers and pub grub offerings. More details are to be revealed.
