Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with Shake Shack’s Hot Honey Chicken
Get ready to indulge in Shake Shack's highly anticipated Hot Honey Chicken menu as the Year of the Dragon approaches. Symbolizing authority, prosperity, and good fortune, the dragon's association with fire and heat makes it the ideal time to gather loved ones and savour this delectable offering.
Available from Jan. 16 to Apr. 1 at all Hong Kong Shacks, the Hot Honey Chicken is the epitome of a perfect balance between sweetness and spiciness. In Lunar culture, honey signifies happiness and sweetness, while the golden yellow hue of the honey, combined with the fiery red of the Hot Honey Chicken's sauce, represents good fortune and prosperity for the year ahead.
A delightful twist on the classic Chicken Shack, the Hot Honey Chicken Burger (HK $63) features a crispy hot honey-glazed chicken, accompanied by the Shack's signature cabbage and green apple slaw, all nestled between a toasted potato bun. Guests have the option to choose between chicken thigh or chicken breast for their burger, both made from 100% all-natural chicken, hand-breaded, and cooked to order, with no antibiotics or hormones.
For those seeking a sharing option during Lunar New Year celebrations, the limited-time Hot Honey Chicken Bites (HK$40 for 6pcs; HK$56 for 10pcs) are the perfect choice. These crispy, whole white meat chicken pieces come with a side of Hot Honey sauce.
To add to the festivities, Shake Shack is also bringing back its limited-edition red packets starting from Jan. 22. Guests can receive one pack of these exclusive red packets per order of any Hot Honey Chicken item at any Shake Shack location or through the mobile ordering platform, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
As an additional treat, late January will introduce a smaller size of Shake Shack's beloved Classic Shake. The new Mini Shake offers all the classic flavours, including Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Caramel, Black & White, and Coffee.
