Cruise x Umu Jeju Presents Jeju-Inspired Afternoon Tea

If you’ve ever been curious about the highlights of Jeju cuisine, now’s your chance to indulge — no plane ticket required!
This March, the esteemed Korean dessert brand Umu Jeju makes its Hong Kong debut with an exclusive Jeju-inspired Afternoon Tea in collaboration with Hyatt Centric's CRUISE Restaurant & Bar.
Available only on weekends and public holidays from Mar. 8 to Jun. 1, 2025, this limited-time experience brings a taste of Jeju’s finest ingredients and flavors, all against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour.
At just HK$688 for two, the afternoon tea pays homage to Jeju’s breathtaking landscapes and rich agricultural heritage, featuring Umu’s bestselling treats like Apple Mango Jelly, Udo Peanut Cookies, and Umu Signature Tea — all supported by the Jeju Tourism Organization.
Standouts from the afternoon tea include the Umu Apple Mango Jelly Tuna Tartare and Umu Apple Mango Jelly Cheesecake, both showcasing Umu’s signature Apple Mango Agar-Agar Jelly, crafted using seaweed harvested by Jeju’s legendary Haenyeo (women divers).

For those craving savory delights, the menu also features Korean-inspired specialties like Steamed Abalone with Jeju Haeoorim Fish Sauce – a briny, umami-packed delicacy and Spicy Korean Pork Belly Bao – melt-in-your-mouth pork belly balanced by the subtle sweetness of a soft bao bun.
Your sweet tooth will be thoroughly delighted by the array of textures and flavors on offer. Indulge in their signature Umu Signature Tea Chocolate Cake – a decadent and crunchy chocolate cake infused with Umu’s exclusive tea blend, boasting subtle notes of buckwheat, lemongrass, mint, and rose.

For a refreshing twist, try the Mandarin Panna Cotta, which bursts with vibrant fresh mandarin compote. If you’re craving something nutty, the Umu Udo Peanut Cookies are a must-try. Made with premium peanuts from Jeju’s Udo Island, these cookies are celebrated for their fragrant, mellow flavor.
For matcha lovers, the Matcha Dome is a showstopper – a luxurious yet delicate dessert featuring a meticulously crafted matcha sponge paired with a luscious strawberry-whipping ganache.

And for an extra special treat, don’t miss the live station serving all-you-can-eat, made-to-order Red Bean Bungeoppang. These golden, crispy, fish-shaped pastries are filled with just the right amount of sweet red bean paste. Pair them with a selection of seasonal ice cream flavors and toppings like sunflower seeds and fresh strawberries for the ultimate dessert experience.
But that’s not all! From Mar. 7 to 31, 2025, all afternoon tea guests will have a chance to win a two-night stay with daily breakfast for two at Grand Hyatt Jeju — the very hotel featured in Single’s Inferno Season 3!
