Fok Hing Gin, World's Most Controversial Gin, Celebrates CNY with ’Boundless Longevity’

Fok Hing Gin, the world’s most controversial gin, stirred up worldwide controversy in November 2021, after the Hong Kong-based alcohol brand faced the wrath of a British Karen who claimed the gin’s name was “offensive to children.”
Persevering as the gin makers do, 2022 is no different to the brand that celebrates Hong Kong’s colonial and gin culture.
Fok Hing Gin returns with blessings in the new year with the release of a beautiful gold and red limited-edition bottle, dubbed “Boundless Longevity.”
The 700-millilitre ml bottle boasts of exquisite coconut and honey flavours, with hints of ginger to roll in the tangy Lunar New Year. In celebration of the Year of the Tiger, the CNY bottle is inspired by the flavours of neen go, traditional New Year rice cakes, a sweet ode to the hearty family reunions and cheers over the festive period.
The “Boundless Longevity” edition bottle is a special collaboration with Hong Kong-based gift brand, Tiny Island. The theme features the classical Hong Kong iconography of the city tram.
Below the bottle label, you’ll find a vintage tram ticket from the 1950s, detailing the key destination of the Fok Hing Gin brand and the West-side locations where the gin botanicals are sourced.
