HKTB Launches Giveaway for Second Batch of HK100 Dining Vouchers Starting Jan 10 header

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is set to launch the second batch of its “Hong Kong Night Treats for Locals” campaign, offering 100,000 dining vouchers to the public, on a first-come-first-serve basis, starting 10 AM on Jan. 10, 2024. This initiative, aimed at promoting the city's nightlife and supporting the local economy, follows the successful rollout of the first batch in December last year.

Each voucher, valued at HK$100, can be used towards a dine-in bill of at least HK$100 at selected restaurants or bars after 6 PM. These vouchers will be available for free on the Discover Hong Kong e-platform, allowing HongKongers to enjoy a variety of culinary experiences.

The second batch of the campaign includes more than 600 participating outlets from about 110 merchants. These include bars and Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme-certified restaurants, offering an extensive range of cuisines.

Patrons can choose from Hong Kong-style clay pot dishes, classic Cantonese cuisine, fresh seafood, spicy Chongqing hot pot, American fast food, cozy cafés, and a selection of international flavors including French, Italian, Southeast Asian, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. A full catalogue is on offer here.

Each registered account on the platform is eligible to acquire one voucher at a time, with the possibility of redeeming more, subject to availability. However, each user can only acquire a dining voucher from the same merchant once.

Importantly, if multiple customers at a table have the HK$100 dining voucher, they can combine them for a single bill. The vouchers, once added to a user’s wallet, remain valid for 30 days and cannot be deleted or altered.

This initiative is part of the broader “Hello Hong Kong” campaign, which aims to rejuvenate the city's vibrant nightlife and dining scene. With this second batch, HKTB seeks to encourage locals to explore and enjoy the diverse culinary offerings of Hong Kong, thereby supporting local businesses and boosting the economy. This second batch of vouchers represents another opportunity for residents to discover new flavours and dining experiences in their city.
