Morocco Brings Bacha Coffee to Hong Kong, Opening at IFC Mall Aug.

Hong Kongers will have more options to try for their caffeine fix as Morocco’s Bacha Coffee is set to open an outpost in the city as part of its Asian expansion.

The Moroccan coffee chain’s first Hong Kong branch will be located at the IFC Mall later this month. A “Coming Soon” teaser is already up on Bacha Coffee’s landing page on IFC Mall’s website. There are also plans to branch out to the Greater Bay Area by early next year, according to third-party reports.

The upcoming opening is in lockstep with Bacha Coffee’s entry into other key Asian markets. The coffee chain is expected to open at Suria KLCC to mark its first store in Malaysia.

V3 Gourmet, its parent company, also unveiled a 7,000-square-foot store called The Arch at Changi Airport Terminal 3 in 2022, its largest store in the world. At present, Bacha Coffee has a presence in three countries: France, Morocco, and Singapore.

Established in Marrakech in 1910, Bacha Coffee specialises in 100% Arabica coffees. It carries more than 200 coffee beans, known for their distinctive, fine-flavoured blend.
