Muji Drops Refreshing New Ice Cream Flavors to Beat the Summer Heat

Looking for something simple but delicious to refresh your palate and help you cool off? Look no further than this local scoop, as MUJIis stepping up to the plate with its first-ever ice cream collection.
Developed and produced in Hong Kong, this debut selection features five different flavors including Matcha, Tofu, Black Sesame, Vanilla, and Chocolate.

Matcha ice cream is already available at MUJI Café&Meal and will be a part of this new range. Made with authentic Uji matcha powder, showcasing the brand’s signature touch of Japanese heritage, their sweet Matcha ice cream is sure to delight.
If your tastes are more local, try their smooth Tofu ice cream and mellow Black Sesame ice cream, inspired by iconic HK desserts such as Tofu Fa and Tong Yuen.

Their Tofu ice cream is crafted from special non-GMO soybeans and offers a delicate and refined flavor. For fans of classic ice cream flavors, MUJI’s velvety Vanilla is creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, while their Chocolate flavor subtly blends sweet and bitter undertones, taking your taste experience to the next level.
True to MUJI’s minimalist philosophy, each 100 ml cup is priced at just HK$20. To keep your ice cream from melting as you explore their delightful stationery section, consider picking up one of their insulated shopping bags!
The ice cream is available in select stores around Hong Kong. On Hong Kong Island, the new selection is available at Royal Castle and Pacific Place. In Kowloon, you can find it at Another City and Telford Plaza. In the New Territories, it’s stocked at Metro Plaza, New Town Plaza, and Tuen Mun Town Plaza.
