Ready, Set, Sip! Bar Leone's Grand Opening This Saturday
Clear your weekend plans! Lorenzo Antinori's Bar Leone is swinging its doors open this coming June 17. The Beat Asia team scored an early invite, and it's safe to say that the Roman-inspired bar redefines expectations, diverging drastically from Lorenzo's acclaimed work at Argo in the Four Seasons.
Nestled in Soho on Bridges Street, Bar Leone embodies the vibrant spirit of traditional Roman bars, infusing it into the heart of Hong Kong. The bar's standout offering is the Cocktail Popolari, an approachable take on classic cocktails, featuring the house special, Leone Martini.
The bar's warmth and camaraderie extends to its menu through the 'Friends and Fam' section, featuring collaborations with diverse brands, one being the Fernet Hunter Cacao with Austrian amaro distillery, Fernet Hunter.
Inside, Bar Leone is a nod to classic Roman aesthetics, complete with a mahogany bar, candle-lit corners, and comfy banquettes. The menu promotes communal dining with Italian piattini and spuntini, perfect for sharing among friends
Aiming to inject Rome's authentic hospitality into Hong Kong's bar scene, Bar Leone is a delightful surprise and an unmissable experience, set to go live this Saturday.
Patrons can enjoy Lorenzo's creations Tuesday to Friday from 5 PM, and weekends from 3 PM. Mondays, the lion sleeps. Keep your eyes peeled, as our full review of Bar Leone will be coming soon.
