Hong Kong is about to get a taste of Little Italy as the Feast of San Gennaro, a beloved Italian American tradition dating back to 1926, makes its debut in Asia. Originating in New York City to honor the Patron Saint of Naples, this annual festival transforms the streets with vibrant colors, aromas, and music, drawing over a million attendees in the U.S. Now, thanks to Red Sauce Hospitality, the spirit of the feast will spread across Hong Kong from Sept. 14-22.

The festival will kick off with an authentic Italian American street food fair at FINI's Italian American in Soho, serving everything from hearty Italian sandwiches to crispy cannolis. If you’ve ever wanted to master pizza-making, FINI’s chefs will host pizza masterclasses, revealing the secrets of New Haven-style pies. Frank’s San Gennaro Quiz Night will offer a fun blend of trivia, music, and prizes. For wine lovers, FINI’S Wanchai will present a 7-course wine pairing dinner, promising a true Italian culinary experience.

The celebration will crescendo with a lively street party at Frank’s Italian American on Sept. 21, complete with Italian street food, roving opera singers, and a slice of Little Italy right in Hong Kong. This is a rare opportunity for locals and expats alike to embrace a century-old tradition, right in the heart of Asia.
