With so many specialty cafés opening around the city, we are spoilt with new and exciting choices. Aside from the richness and aroma of an espresso or the foamy taste of iced latte’s, we do appreciate seeing aesthetically pleasing cafés where we can enjoy our coffee while taking a selfie and posting it on our Instagram feed.

1. APT. Coffee
With its white walls and bamboo shoots, it’ll definitely give your IG photo a mood. As their “personal tailor”, they want customers to have a unique coffee experience, and this café allows customers to create not only their coffees but also lets them customize their toast with a topping of their choice. So, you’ll surely get the coffee you want plus a delicious menu to go with it.

2. Halfway Coffee
If you’re in the mood to drink coffee in vintage Chinese porcelain cups, while being reminded of the old Hong Kong, then Halfway Coffee is the place for you. This coffee shop in the streets of Sheung Wan offers a rustic visual that is super gram-worthy!
Aside from its aesthetic, this boutique coffee shop serves delicious coffee with the best latte art in the city. If you drop by during lunchtime, expect it to be full since it’s not a big place, but don’t panic since they have another location at Tung Street.
3. Omotesando Koffee
Haven’t been to Tokyo or you just want to feel transported to Japan? This coffee shop in Wan Chai will do that with its minimalist interior and signature coffees. With branches in London, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Manila, this coffee shop is a must-visit.

4. Little Cove Espresso
Just like their name, this coffee shop is a sanctuary for coffee lovers placed in the heart of Sai Kung. With white interiors and perfectly plated dishes with ocean blue colored coffee cups, it’s a perfect Mediterranean-inspired visual for your feed. So, make sure to take a lot of beautiful photos while enjoying the outdoors of Sai Kung.

5. Kaffee House
If you happen to be in New Territories, don’t forget to pass by Kaffee House located in Lo Tsz Tin Tsuen. Surrounded by residential houses, it’s a picturesque spot as soon as you’ve stepped inside the shop. From its wooden decors and seats to an indoor swing, you’ll get to enjoy its gourmet coffees with beautiful sceneries.

6. Blue Bottle Coffee
Opening their first branch in Hong Kong last April, Blue Bottle Coffee’s interior is unique on its own with ceramic grey tile along the walls and floors. If you’re fascinated by the process of making coffee, you can head upstairs and watch how their baristas create coffee or just sit on the wooden chair while sipping a hot cup of latte and take a good snap for the ‘gram. And can we just mention how we love their branded mugs, plates, and bottles?
