Mastercard and Trip.com Collaboration Offers Discounts Across APAC

Experience the vibrant city of Hong Kong through the moneywise collaboration between Trip.com and MasterCard. The partnership, born out of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed earlier this year, aims to make your travel dreams a reality.

From Sept. 1. 2023 to Aug. 31. 2024, travellers using any Mastercard World or World Elite Consumer Credit and Debit cards can enjoy hefty discounts on all flights booked through the Trip.com app. This promotion is now valid across 17 Asia Pacific territories.

As the travel industry rebounds from the pandemic, Trip.com has seen a significant increase in flight bookings. In fact, the first two weeks of August saw a 160% surge compared to the same sale period last year.

But that’s not all. As part of the 9.9 Mega Sale in September, Trip.com Hong Kong is offering Mastercard cardholders up to HK$249 off on flight tickets and flight package bookings over HK$1000 from Sept. 5 to 9.

In Mastercard expanding its horizons, a separate collaboration with WeChat aims to enhance the digital payment experiences of visitors in China, giving them access to a broad merchant network.
