Rosewood Hong Kong Ranks Second Place in World's 50 Best Hotels 2023

In a dazzling awards ceremony held in London, 50 Best unveiled its inaugural list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2023, ranking Rosewood Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui as the world’s second-best hotel, trailing behind the illustrious Passalacqua in Lake Como, Italy.

This monumental event marks the brand’s first venture into the travel space since the successful launch of The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2009. European hotels dominated half of the world’s top 50 properties, including four spots in London.

Eighteen hotels in Asia made the rankings, including four in the top five: Rosewood Hong Kong (no. 2), Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River (no. 3), The Upper House in Hong Kong (no. 4), and Aman Tokyo (no. 5).

The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy hosts more than 580 international hotel and travel experts in nine regions across the world in a rigorous voting process to rank the world’s top 50 hotel properties. The Academy is split with a 50/50 gender balance, and a minimum of 25% of the world panel is renewed annually.
