Hong Kong’s former Central Police Station built from 1841 to 1925, which used to operate into the early 2000s, now offers a revamp arts, leisure, and heritage destination. Tai Kwun has preserved the prison and jail grounds used in a former colonial period, whilst hosting heritage, contemporary arts events, performances, exhibitions, and a wealth of world-class restaurants at the Hollywood Road location. The building is stationed within the three declared monuments, joined by the former Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison.
