The Liebling, pronounced “lee-bling” is an endearing term in German and also the nickname for Britta’s family dog, Linus. It merges the English words ‘lie’ (to rest and sleep) with ‘bling’ (a term for luxury).
The idea was devised by the award-winning interior designer Britta Butler, Founder of Hong Kong-based firm B Squared Design.
The Liebling is set to make waves in the pet furniture market, promising to seamlessly enhance your high-end home décor while ensuring your fur baby is as comfortable as can be.
Lovingly crafted by skilled artisans in a family-run workshop with more than 25 years of expertise in custom furniture, The Liebling took every little detail into consideration.
Their inner cushion is made from natural shredded latex, which is hypoallergenic, dust mite-resistant, and helps provide joint pressure relief. A waterproof outer layer protects against accidents, and a removable, machine-washable Ultrasuede cover promises effortless upkeep.
The Liebling also offers custom-madeservices, with three different sized beds available, made to accommodate pets from 2 to 99 pounds, and color options such as light oak, warm maple, dark walnut, or leather.
Customers can also choose from colors like brushed gold, brushed nickel, or matte black for the bed’s base finish. The cushion covers are available in ivory, slate gray, and charcoal.
